- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My mother had gone to Mission Terrace several times over the last five years, but most recently she was sent there from Cottage Hospital after an infection. I have never been as favorably impressed by a medical facility as I was by Mission Terrace. The level of kindness they showed my mother was amazing and, because I was following her progress from the Bay Area, their kindness and eagerness to keep me up-to-date was so appreciated. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My mom has been at Mission Terrace for two years after her stroke and receives a lot of individual attention from the nurses. My brother and I are very involved in her care and take turns visiting her several times a week. All the nurses and staff know us by name and treat us like family. The speech therapist has really helped my mom a lot with her switching words, which is probably the thing that frustrates her the most. I recommend this place a lot.December 25, 2016by Ava Cardona
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My mother stayed there and it does have it's good points: Clean, safe, staffed properly. However, there is the lack of dietary considerations that people of advanced age should receive. They serve one dish type per meal and the patient can either eat it; pick at it; or, not eat. My mother advised the staff that she was on a low salt diet and they did nothing to accommodate that. She also had one major complaint: The gentleman that is the driver of the shuttle, who I suppose is a licensed facility staff person, entered the bathing room during the time that women were being bathed without any regard for discretion; coming in as if he was entering any other room. Yes, the place impresses family members, but more consideration should be provided to the patient's needs and comfort.December 03, 2016by Mrspaul Swetland
